Jess Wagenfeld

Jess Wagenfeld earned her Bachelor of Speech Therapy and Audiology from the University of Stellenbosch in 2000, embarking on an audiology journey inspired by somewhat of a family legacy in hearing care. With two decades of experience, Jess has worked as an audiologist for private hearing care companies, as a paediatric audiologist for Hearing Australia, and as a cochlear implant audiologist at NextSense.

As the Education Support Leader for AuCA, Jess now channels her passion and expertise into guiding the next generation of audiometrists. Her teaching philosophy focuses on motivating students to pursue excellence in their field while developing a client-centered approach to best practice. Jess brings academic knowledge and practical experience from South Africa and Australia, which offers students a global perspective, helping develop the skills and ethos needed to make a real difference in people's lives.
