Sara is a passionate and dedicated clinical audiologist, with a strong belief that communication is fundamental to quality of life. She completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Sciences at the University of Auckland, before completing a Master’s in Audiology with distinction at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. As a Kiwi, she brings a distinctive international perspective to the Australasian course, shaped by her New Zealand training and experience.
Sara has worked across both corporate audiology settings and independent clinics, with experience in adult rehabilitation and paediatric testing, giving her a broad understanding of diverse models of hearing care. Alongside her teaching role, Sara works as an independent clinical audiologist, ensuring her knowledge and insight remain current and closely aligned with industry practice.
Sara is committed to supporting the future of the profession by helping shape the next generation of hearing care professionals. Her teaching style is patient, supportive, and centred on an understanding that everyone begins their career as a student.
